Get up to 7% AER with Clydesdale Bank

Clydesdale Bank are offering the biggest cash incentive available of £150, if you switch to one of their bank accounts.

What’s more if you open their Current Account Direct you will receive 2% AER on balances up to £3,000.  With the cash incentive this is a total of £210 which works out as a market beating 7% AER.

We have been informed that although there is no end date, it is a limited offer and can be withdrawn at any time. Therefore if you are interested, have a look now to avoid disappointment.

Get 5% AER with TSB and Nationwide

If you don’t want to switch your account, you can still get 5% AER from TSB and Nationwide on in-credit balances of up to £2,000 and £2,500 respectively.  If you have a partner there is nothing to prevent you opening additional accounts in joint and sole names.  An example with a simple step by step guide can be found here.

Get 3% AER with Santander on up to £60,000

Often those with larger deposits will want to limit the hassle of multiple accounts, while still getting a great return.  A very popular solution is to open Santander 123 accounts paying 3% AER and deposit up to £60,000. This can be achieved by opening three accounts; one in your sole name, one in your partner's name and one in joint names with £20,000 in each.
